What should I expect during treatment?
First, the tooth receiving the dental crown will be altered to allow room for the dental crown in your mouth. An impression will then be taken of the tooth and the surrounding teeth so that your custom dental crown can be made. When the dental crown is complete, our dentist in Atlanta, Georgia, will check the fit. After any necessary tweaks are made, the dental crown will be cemented into place.
How do I take care of a dental crown?
Surprisingly, dental crowns do not require any special care. Like natural teeth, all they require is daily brushing and flossing and regular visits to the dentist.
